For many, many moons I have mocked those around me who choose to engage in the ego centric form of communication that has become popular in my late adolent years...blogging? why? Is anyone REALLY intrested enough in you life to read pages and pages of details on it?
Be honest, when you read a blog, you skim don't you? Unless you are my mother chances are, you probably did'nt even read that last sentence. So you may say " Why Jessica have you choosen to succomb to the aimless and self absorbed fad that has penetrated your generation?" this question is similar to ones like "Jessica, really? Bright orange pants?" or " Jessica, pudding fights?" or " Jessica, do you really think 6 inch heels in the snow is wise" Because the answer is
Because I can.
More spicific to blogging however, I realize that I am a magnant to random and ridiculous experiances and who better to share these experianes with than the entire online community, in short the universe.
And of course being myself I don't think I can't anything just to do it, for example, when I was 6 I set up koolaid stands with the full intention to ultimatly dominate the cheap summer beverage market and ultimatly end up on the cover of fortune. When I was twelve I was in a Production of Charlie Brown and I assumed that I would be discovered and whisked away to LA or New York to begin my career as a blossoming performer, and now as a 19 year old I start a blog with the plan in mind that it will become a huge sensationa in the next ten minutes or so, so that I will be able to quit filling out scholarship application's and making pizza for zit faced video game addicted 20-something's who have been stranded in the barren wasteland that is eastern Idaho.
And although I have yet to A. Be on the cover of fortune B. Get discovered or C. Become and international blogging icon, I have full confidence that I will.
Thanks for skimming this, have a good day.
